Born in Ishikawa, Japan. After studying pottery in Okinawa and Kanazawa, making pottery of flower pots and animal puppets from the theme of life and story. Animal motifs from the folk tales and fictional stories put celebratory, delighted spice in the work, and she always pray that whoever wraps the work in hand be happy.

石川県出身。現在は富山県の氷見で創作している。民話や伝承から着想を得た動物たちをモチーフとして、植木鉢を中心に制作。作品に土を入れ、植物を植えて育ったときに完成する構図でデザインされている。あえて釉薬の自然な動きを残し、ぽったりと溶けるような滑らかな手触りの作品には、触れた人の心を豊かにしたいという作家の思いが込められている。
